Great blogging will get you more subscribers, earn you more traffic, and position you as an authority in your field. Let's develop a winning content strategy for your business.
CONTENT MARKETING
Your content strategy should be getting you killer results. Because it is for a lot of other people.
So if your website traffic is stalling out and your email list is getting sick of you, don't settle.
If you have an awesome product, a few strategy tweaks should get you un-stuck and avalanching down the mountain.
...That is, as long as your content person knows what they're doing.
Here are a few of the first things I do when I'm managing content for an established brand:
- Survey your audience to find out what keeps them up at night
- Create sticky content that just so happens to be exactly what they want to learn from you (with headlines often phrased in their own language—just to make sure they cant help but click!)
- Find new lookalike audiences for your people and throw your content in front of 'em—meaning strategic partnerships, setting up guest webinars, running paid ads, planning posts with carefully targeted SEO keywords, or even setting up a lemonade stand outside your house if that's what it takes. I don't play around.
You're leaving money on the table if your content strategy is lacking. As your brand new friend, I demand you find a good content marketer to take care of this crucial part of your business!
BLOGGING
Blog posts are like your grandma's orchids—you have to do very specific things to them, or they'll turn brown, curl up, and die. Don't be a blog murderer. Instead, find a writer who can write you posts that are:
- Conversational and engaging
- INSANELY useful
- Informed by exactly what your target audience has said they want...through their words AND actions
For the past few years, I've been the content strategist operating behind the scenes of a few prolific online platforms—including two New York Times bestselling authors. (check the About page if you'd like to know which ones.)
If you want help in ramping up your blog's results, I'm happy to consider the project. Shoot me an email at Tim@TimBranchWrites.com and we'll have a copy chat.
